Some
organizations gather data, and review their KPI's at regular intervals, yet
this valuable information quite often is not used to generate significant cost
reductions, eliminate recurrent or new problems, increase operational
efficiency, or even improve existing processes.
Our Lean
Six Sigma Greenbelt course is a seven day training program designed to provide
your organisation with a fully trained problem solver, who will be able to
"read" the data, analyse it, and see in it opportunities to not only
solve problems, but also deploy cost reduction and/or efficiency projects. It
equips your personnel to become a valuable player within the company’s larger
goals and objectives by enabling them to identify opportunities for improvement
not readily identifiable without a detailed statistical analysis of your data.
It is
designed to equip key personnel who lead or support improvement projects,
enhancing their current skills by developing a detailed understanding of the
DEFINE - MEASURE - ANALYSE - IMPROVE – CONTROL methodology. It blends a number
of Lean concepts and tools into the Six Sigma methodology to provide a powerful
means to deliver improvements that are sustainable over time.
Lean Six
Sigma can deliver results in all types of organisations and industries – not
only in Engineering, Manufacturing and Assembly, but also in contact centres,
the public sector, including healthcare, and in the software industry.
Introduce
Lean Six Sigma into your organisation to achieve increased efficiency and
effectiveness, resulting in increased customer satisfaction.
Course Structure
The
training modules are split as follows:
Define / Measure Phase: 3 days
Analyse Phase: 2 days
Improve / Control Phase: 2 days
A gap of
around 4 weeks between each module provides an opportunity for trainees to work
on a project within their workplace, applying the methodology learned during
the previous session's training. Extra support can be provided for the trainees
with their project work.
Certification
Certification
is available upon completion of Green Belt training plus one project in which
the targeted savings have been achieved; a report which demonstrates the use of
the tools and methodology is required.
